Euro X, is back, for the second year running, the world’s top skiers and snowboarders will be heading to Tignes in France.  There will be three days of Superpipe and Slopestyle, as well as an interactive X Park (not sure what that is..), live music and X Fest.  It is great to see the event in Europe again, bringing some of these prestigious events across the Atlantic to the home of some of the worlds best riders and inspiring the next generation – on that note….
Faction rider, Frederick Iliano, winner of Disney’s Next X, will be riding at the event, we are still waiting for confirmation on whether he is allowed to compete or will be solely fore running the event, hopefully the former.
Mirjam Jaeger, should also be there to step it up from her 4th place in last years X Games, 3rd at Telus International Ski and Snowboard Festival and 2nd in this years Dew Tour.  We would be expecting her invitation in the post – but at present she is the first reserve female athlete, which strikes us as….. we will just leave that space blank for what it strikes us as. But,with other women being sent invitations without such prestigious results, we can only hope that Euro X, reconsider their position on Mirjam’s invite, so we can go and support her and the European X Games.
