The plan was to ski dubh choire today. But, the weather

turned out pretty nasty, with 50 mph winds, with heavy snow all day. So we

ended doing another 2 hours of beacon practice and a bit of cornice cutting practice

as well. We found a small 3ft high cornice, with a good over hang what was

prime to collapse. What we didn’t really expect was a 2.5ft long x 1ft high

chunk to come off it. After the C.C practice, we skinned up the

thunder bowl, working on our switchback for 30 minutes.

That’s really all we did today, there was nothing

interesting happened all day.

This is my near miss, of nearly falling in the shit infested

CW.B today.
