I originally thought it would be done for a pro to win, but for Grete to donate all of her $25,000 to charity is fucking amazing. Seriously cool move. I liked her before, but after this, her stock is definitely up. Way to go Grete!

I think it's mighty nice of Grete to give the money to charities, and I think it's mighty nice of event sponsors to cough up the cash, HOWEVER this whole "Consest" was a fixed sham.

1st of all, they totally misled the voting public by making certain rules up 'apparent' as they went along. For crap's sake, Grete got only 1.9% of the vote on-line....some amateurs got over 10%. This award was simply geared towards getting the best all-round PRO to win $25k...that's it. AM's never stood a chance...and it shouldn't have been geared that way. Basically, this was an on-hill ski competition. Where's the suspense in a PRO winning? No SH*T!

Well, I am kind of disappointed. But if Ullr was a girl, it would be Grete because she kills it. I was expecting an unknown to win though.

This competition never really needed to happen. They should've just picked her and Burke and flipped a coin....that's my point.
