18+ Thats bullshit. Most of the kids on here are younger than 16. 18 year olds are out of the house and either at college or living in their own house and deffinitly don't have time to make a backyard set up. Good try COC.

^ how is it bullshit?

1. kids under 18 are not legal responsible for themselves, making contracts, pay terms liability a BIG problem.

2. if a 18+ yr old digger gets hurt COCs' contract will cover them from suit. if some under 18 gets hurt COC will be liable becasue a contract signed by someone under 18 is not a valid contract

3. COC doenst want "kids younger then 16" working on their park, in most cases 18 yr olds are more phyically fit then 16 yr olds.

4. kids that age are in most cases too immature

kids 18 and over does include most seniors in HS as well as college kids.

that's not true... msot backyard setups are for the summer, and people are off at college and could be setting up rails or jumps there too, I know I have.

^i think legally you cant have someone building a park if there under 18, its just an unnecessary risk.

Hey everybody. We knew people would be bummed on the age requirement. The reason for that age requirement is that the winner will not be coming to camp as a camper, but as a member of our staff.

Stoked to see the set-ups you guys have worked on all winter! Make sure you send something in if you have any, and I mean any, photos or videos. If you don't have anything from this year, then send in something from last year!

Also, get those back muscles strong! As I'm sure Doug at HN can attest to, it's a lot of fun, but also a lot of really hard work!
