you gotta love woodencrate83's comment: '...it's cliche but true...it's not how you ski but how you look in the lift line...' definitely cliche, certainly not true. plus, what's the argument, anyway, they do look cool. and plus, what can a real skier ask for beyond a lens with a strap. that's what goggles are for, right?
Plain is good, and much safer, one time I was wearing my Oaks, and as I was coming down the run one of the pointy things on the goggs hit something, it was a pigeon, the goggles killed it... I'd never seen a pigeon up so close. If I had been using plain goggles they wouldn't have ripped a hole in the bird and spilled it's blood all over my face, goggles, and clothes... It doesn't pay!
hey. Every company has their own identity. Scott isn't looking to put ram-air hood scoops and that sorta jazz into their goggles. Clean look and great performance, is all most people ask for. I think they're nice!
