^ yes, there may be a lot of Max hill's out there these days, but it's pretty pathetic when a pro steals another pro's steez.Like really, even down to his outerwear, what a tool
This looks ok but i would never send my kids there. A bunch of kids in designer clothes worried about them getting dirty and staying in the WHISTLER STAFF ACCOM as there "cabins". This camp is lame. Ya they go skiing and ya thats awesome. But the sessions only last a week.
Where i come from(Toronto, Canada) Camp is all summer, we go rafting, sailing, horse back-riding , golfing, wakeboarding, water skiing, gymnastics, archery, kayaking, canoeing trips through remote locations( canoe trip means campers and counsellors carry canoes through the woods "portage" explore the remote locations and return to camp with stories to share... etc )
We also have fires and cook food over them. kids run through the woods and find wood to burn. Once a month we devide all the kids into diffrent teams and they face each other in huge compititions....
This camp seems too much like kids just paying to ski at a resort. this is no true camp. It is missing way too many things and for the price that you pay i just dont unerstand why you would do it.
To me the Windells camp has always looked way more fun( dont get me wrong id go to coc in a heart beat) But over all the Windells has a full campus for the kids to explore and have fun at, it has tramps, skate parks, off snow airbags. it seems a little rougher and out there than these ones in whistler.
Over all whistler just doesnt seem to offer enough outside of the skiing, i mean how many hours do those kids ski a day, and then how much of it is spent running up blackcomb in some lame relay race.
All these kids are going to be little wimps. Boys need to go do manly things to keep their testosterone high. sure doing a huge backflip will keep it going but those kids need to get out and do other stuff as well.
You guys are in the mountains, and they dont offer ROCK CLIMBING, mountain climbing, rafing , mtn biking, surfing, wakeboarding, and all the other things people come there to do. sounds lame.
Sorry Whistler but you guys need to step it up, skiing is great but if my kid only gets in 3-4 hrs a day and then doesnt do much after im not sending him. As far as im concerned ONTario camps blow these out of the water.
also where are all the girls ... camp was all about getting laid (or at least trying to) when i was a kid. maybe if you guys offered activities that involve bathing suites you would attract more girls. or somthing. this is as lame as it gets.
MORE ACTIVITES, LATER NIGHTS, MORE GIRLS , FIRES , THIngs outside of skiing that could scrape there knees and get them dirty. come on don be such wimps.
Jebus, you need to do a little more research... Momentum and COC both offer TONS of after skiing activities as part of camp, including: Mtn Biking, Climbing, Trampoline, Wakesurfing, Soccer, Skateboarding, Rafting, Water ramps, Bungee jumping, Paintball, etc, etc.
"whistler doesn't seem to offer enough outside of the skiing" - wow, you have absolutely no idea...
