The Olympics just got 100% better, and I already loved them. If slope style is included as well, It's officially going to be the best thing ever. I'm a fan of sitting down with a snack and a drink and watching judged skiing competitions on TV. Probably my favorite thing to do when just at home. I'm so stoked.
Fuck the ignorant dumbasses who dont understand that this is positively progressing skiing in every way, whether you accept to see that or not. Competitions are only going to speed up what is going to happen inevitably in this sport. You can't say "don't put halfpipe skiing in the olympics, I want to do nollies." Because then you're a fucking idiot. Go whack off to skateboarding in the baby park and do reverts. Theres always going to be someone who spins more than the first guy, competitions are just a way of showcasing it. If you don't like the progression, then don't partake. No one fucking cares. And dont forget, people are going to make MORE MONEY from this, something that is NEEDED in this GROWING sport. So fuck off all you 12 year olds, this is bigger than you.
this is defo a great opportunity for our sport, but it is up to us to "keep it real"... it is your own opinion what is style and what is not... but at least now we can show the world that WE baggy-ass pant droopin, tattoo sportin, bling headphone wearing, steeze mongers can make the same kind of noise as a guy like bodie, and show that we aren't complete fuck-ups!!! anyone thinks that mason aguirre has no style droppin in the olympic pipe against the anti-christ white, need to have their head checked...
CHHHHYEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!! This will only bring positive things to our sport, no matter what! It will be so great to finally see guys competing on the world stage repping their country. It has done wonders for snowboarding, and it will do the same for us. Just got super INSPIRED!!!
Outlaw skiers need to find a new gravity sport to terrorize FIS with. Hope it doesn't turn into a spin-to-win, because there is too much creativity at stake.
