^Shut up. You know you're excited to see people wonder why they were so into shaun white.

Lets all just hope they don't get too crazy with the judging though. And Please please PLEASE leave slopestyle out. Every freeskier knows they could judge one of those comps better than the guys who don't look for the right stuff. Slopestyle isn't all about difficulty.

^ Dude no1 is making you compete in it, more money for the pros who really don't get paid nearly enough for the work they put into this sport. Really great news, you can still do your own thing on the hill no1 is stopping you.

HA, more money for pro's who don't get paid enough? Fuck that, how about more money to athletes who focus on halfpipe? I mean, that is where the media will be focused right? You can bet your ass that the top companies are going to pool their sponsorship dollars into the people who are going to get the most media attention. Just look at why Rossi dropped Sage two seasons ago, yet they pay exorbitant amounts of money to Xavier Bertoni. Olympic exposure does not mean more money to all skiing athletes, in fact it is quite the opposite. And no, I don't think Shaun White is one to be admired here. The guy can barely hold it down in snow that is anything deeper than his ankles. And as far as judging goes, just look at Olympic Snowboarding. Mandatory straight airs... no more than two double corks? What is next, skateboarding in the summer olympics? Also, guess who is gonna fucking win those medals? The athletes [like Shaun White] who have sponsors who create their own training facilities that are far better than the facilities any other athlete has access to. It's not a competition, its just a fucking advertisement for companies who don't give a fuck about skiing.

Awesome! I don't think it would change the sport really, I mean did it change snowboarding much? From my point of view, snowboarding is so dope, and the Olympics didn't stop that. I imagine the same story will be true for skiing.

Couldn't care less. FIS will suck the soul out of this comp. Style to them is the team uniforms everyone has to wear. Get the cookie cutters out (not that they aren't out already in most comps) and line up everybody up.
