I think this is really exciting!!! It will help bring it to the attention of the public, and the opportunities it will give to all freeski athletes are huge! Although the olympics are giant they are only one comp, and i'm sure the athletes are going to be shreddin the same way they are now, they will just have more success opportunities.

Also there will always be those people who live their lives the way they want, and don't take rules from anyone else, if pipe gets to controlled i'm sure it will get modified, or a new event will come up that will blow minds.

Overall I think this is sickkkkk and i'm SO STOKED =)

This was bound to happen eventually and theres no sense in fighting the natural progression of our sport. It will be cool to see so many new kids discovering how much fun it is to ski park. Although I will always miss the good old days.

Im stoked its in, as it deserves to be.

I just hope they don't make the skiiers take a straight air as one of their hits, its so pointless, does not allow the athletes to showcase their true potential

It would still be a large chunk of the sports. Most of them are qualitative results... only a third or them or so I would say are quantitative. Leave any judged sport for things like 'world championships' or whatever. They'd still be just as prestigious, but I don't think they belong in the olympics.
