I look up to J Lev so much! He once left me a voice mail when my ski coach Geoff Stump convinced him to send me some skis as a teenager, and i could barely talk when I called him back.

It is so amazing to hear his take on those early years, because to me those early 2000's were the most important years of my life (AXIS mag, Siver Cartel, Joystick, FREEZE, LINE, early Level1, etc.). Those were the years I came of age (my teenage years). It is so true to look back on how Line was the style team back then (Watch Pollard & Mike Nicks part from Propaganda). So funny how truly none of us really ordered of the internet back then (that was how you got your credit card number stolen, if you were old enough/lucky enough to own a credit card lol). Inventing skis like the Chronic, Invader, SFB, Afterbang, Prophet! my first pair of Lines were the yellow 1260's with Ninjas on the tails, but I recall oogling the original Line skis I'd see in the ski racks at my local mountain! The direct buy business structure is genius and I am so glad it is working for J Skis! So sad to see LINE & ARMADA making these norm core carver rental skis, it's like stubbing your toe..

Anyway.. Great Podcast!
