It's not uncommon for skiers to create their own outerwear brands - David Lesh created the prolific Virtika way-back-when and Henrik recently announced the beginning his lifestyle company, Harlaut Inc. Who will be next to create their own outerwear? While this post is completely based on speculation, here’s a short and sweet list of prolific skiers that should definitely start their own outerwear line or company.

Tom Wallisch

Alright Tom, we get it, you're busy being the face of The North Face's outerwear for the Olympics. But if you ever get a chance to create your own outerwear then pls do. You've got a legion of loyal fans dating back to your Tall T days who are religiously rewatching your 2007 SuperUnknown video entry or guacamole sundayz. We can't all ski like Tom Wallisch, but maybe one day we'll look as cool as him.

Gus Kenworthy

Gus has risen to popularity outside of the ski community for reasons arguably outside of skiing. Differences aside, he does have quite the collection of podium finishes on his resume as well a large social media following. Maybe it's time for Gus to put some clothes back on and create his own line of outerwear to sell.

Candide

No doubt Candide is one of skiing's biggest living legends - any 10 second video clip of him gets reposted by basically every ski media outlet there is. So what's stopping him from creating his own outerwear? N o t h i n g. He already has a line of pro-model skis from Faction - but maybe some Candide branded outerwear will help me ski like him too. That's how it works, right?

Lynsey Dyer

Lynsey is quite the strong advocator for eco-friendly living and even said no to a Japan trip this winter because of carbon output from international flights. Yeah that happened. She's already been involved behind-the-scenes of skiing for quite some time, so why not create an eco-friendly outerwear for the ladies?

Seth Morrison

Gandhi once said, "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Seth is still a bit bitter about the ski industry since the ending of his relationship with K2 skis, so maybe it's time to become the change he wants to see in the industry, starting with outerwear. His fan base consists of many middle-aged skiers who have money to spend and hey, can't get dropped by your own company right?

Which skier do you want to see create their own outerwear?
