Whistler Blackcomb just had arguably one of the best opening weeks to date when they received 205 cm of snow (2 meters, 71 inches, 6.7 feet) in the last 7 days.
Whistler has opened the Harmony 6 lift and will continue to expand open terrain as ski patrol evaluates and approves different areas. Whistler also reported, "The long-range forecast for next week shows a cooling trend, which will allow the snowmaking team to move down the mountain and work on the runs heading to the village."
