Another blow to the tight knit ski community of Squaw Valley, and also to the rest of the skiing world. As I lay here injured from 2 weeks ago on the hill, I know I am lucky to still be here to ski again. I can't help but remember what both Shane and CR's views were about the risks involved with high level skiing. They were both at the top of their game, doing what they loved to do. Freeskiing can be so very dangerous, but bring's so much joy to life. I met both of these guys, and wish they were still here ripping and blowing our minds. Thoughts and vibes going out to CR's loved ones and Family. RIP.
