I'll pass on the iPad. For the money you would spend on that I'd rather build a cheap PC, that would be loads faster and more capable. Who cares if its "innovative." I dont think it is, its a big iphone. Th iphone is pretty cool, that and the ipod are teh only 2 apple devices I would buy, but when it comes to computers (or a computer like device such as this)... I'll pass on apple's POS. Just get a fucking netbook. srsly. touchscreen is cool and all, but its kind of a novelty, as far as home computing goes. Try typing a paper on that... oh wait... its practically useless.

i agree with TROLL here. this is essentially a useless invention. a touch screen keypad will never equal a keyboard in functionality, and the large screen will more than likely end up broken if you take this monstrosity all over like you would an early 90's cell phone. plus first G's always fuck up. always.

@ski.the.east I decided to get the Wifi for a few reasons...

1) I don't travel very much, so the large majority of the time the iPad will be living in my living room anyway.

2) $130 extra for the 3G and then you need to pay for data on top of that. Luckily it's month-to-month without a subscription. But, I didn't really want to spend the extra cash.

3) I already have an iPhone and pay for AT&T data for that. I'm going to just make my phone a wifi hotspot and connect my iPad to that.

4) Didn't want to wait a few more weeks. heh
