Sweet, well this is the first post on my blog. Haven’t really thought too much about what the purpose of my blog is yet, but it seemed like it would be a good way to kill some time at work today.
Looking into my crystal ball of all things blogging, I see this blog filled up with random musings and small rants. There will no doubt be ski and mountain biking related posts.
In time I’ll create my own theme for my blog, this orange monster is only temporary. I hope to get a photo section up online too. If all goes to plan it should encourage me to get my ass into gear and get out there and take more photos. Since getting my camera 6 months ago I haven’t really had much time to get amongst it.
I'm also setting up RSS posting. This should take the blog feed from the site I just made (http://www.philtoomey.co.cc) and post it here. Score! Less work for me = good in my books.
I'm using a free host and domain register for my site so it'll be interesting to see how that works out. Sofar it's been no problem. http://50gigs.net/ - Definitely worth checking out if you're thinking about creating a site of your own.
