looks like fun doug. we'll go rifle shooting next time you visit. i like not having hand guns readily available. they things are useless for hunting and are only good to kill a person or for bear protection while hiking/working in the bush (if you get a big 50cal SW).
I have shot both handguns and rifles, but I have not been hunting since I was like 16. I love shooting. I definately shoot handguns way more than rifles. What I'm getting at here is that practicality in firearm choice is not really an issue for me as I no longer hunt and killing humans has never interested me. I'll claim a little though and tell you I can consistantly take out clays placed in the dirt from 100 yards with a 45. It is great way to aliviate(sp?)stress!
