hey kids, adults and the elderly, this blog thing is gonna be harder than i thought. here i am in laax paying two damn swiss francs for ten minutes to write this thing when I could be checking my very important emails or, even better, my favorite pron sites. at any rate i figured I should stop in and say hi before I get too far behind to even bother anymore.last week was spent with a pair of friends in bansko, bulgaria... epic to say the least. we didnt have the best conditions but the trip itself was just incedible. ill be writing a feature story on our adventures for NS as soon as i get some time, so stay tuned on that one. got back to munich last friday just in time to leave on saturday for garmisch to watch the Red Bull Gap Session-- Travis Parker, Travis Rice, David Benedek and others (no two plankers unfortunately) hitting a gigantic jump in garmischs old olympic ski stadium (using the landing of the ski jump as the inrun). it was a blast going to an event and not having to do any work- we got hammered on jagermeister and cheered encouragement as the boarders dropped such ridiculous stunts as double cork 12s and double back late 180s. on this jump even a double cork 1080 looked smooth.and now i am back on the road in laax for the orange (thats right, not orage) brits comps this week- big air was today, halfpipe, slopestyle and the infamous AIR TIME quarterpipe dropin coming up later in the week. ill be sure to let you all know how it goes down. but at the moment, im more concerned about living in laax for a week with less than 10 francs in my pocket. tip number 1 from the kamikaze chronicles: you can eat lunch for free every day by walking into any restaurant on the mountain and just nabbing peoples leftovers (you can do this anywhere, not just the mountain). here in europe people stare at you like a leper, but hey, a man has to have his sustenance.peace out, and hey, i forgot in my last blog to give a huge shoutout to marmite, the one and only charlotte raynor brown for the sick photo headlining my blog. and also to matt schaff from idaho. say something really, really funny in the comments and ill shout YOU out on my next blog!
