that sounds good..i am thinking a 1-10 rating system with a comment only allowing maybe 50 words. that way people try to only putthe more important things about whatever topic they are reviewing. i cant remember which site this is from but maybe when you put your mouse on the beginning of a comment a dialogue box drops down with the rest of it?...that might sound retarded but oh well.
It looks good...maybe trying a grouping thing. like for popular things ex. skis as one, boots as another, binding and so on and so forth...if ur confused as to what im saying maybe go check out http://www.mtbr.com and see how they have it layed out. just a sugestion hope it helped
I like it. Have the review by name though. So for example you can go to Saloman, and all the saloman categories are there, then click on "foil" and it has all the reviews on foils there (user and NS), then you can click a review you want to read. That way, if you are researching a certain product, all the reviews are in the same place.
maybe for reviews have an option for users to agree or disagree with the opinion of the reviewer? kindov like a poll. then the most widely agreed upon reviews will be at the top.
if its equipment there should be info about the rider (like ht wieght, pct on and off piste, how much time in the park, etc.) either as part of the review or added to the member profile page....other than that just make it pretty
I like it, its even cooler if you could get someone with credibility rating the product (not the ski company)for each product. and pictures! we all like pictures
