I take back anything bad i've ever said about Sammy Carlson. Haven't really heard much about him this season but this movie should be sick. Super awesome style. Proves that you don't have to throw sw 14's and crazy doubles to be sick. He's managed to keep a super unique and clean style without getting sucked into the whole tall-T thug wanna be scene that's becoming so dominant in the ski industry. Props Sammy for doing your own thing and slaying.

Everyone who says sammy has fallen off and can't keep up with the new NS idols is clueless. Especially people questioning his style. That's like questioning Candide's style. Sammy's riding is natural. His style is timeless.

I admit that it seemed to me like he might be falling off a little and his skiing wasn't that fresh anymore, but that's just because he's investing in sick segments and not dropping edits every two weeks with his dopest shit. Now that he has dropped an edit, I don't now how anyone can question that he's still at the forefront of the sport. He was killing that high rail and that jump. And no hate, but it's nice to see someone working rails and small jumps without a shitload of afterbang. That edit got me more stoked than anything I've seen this year.
