Awesome pics and recap story Nadia. $1k for unlimited vert is a pretty decent heli deal for BC too... too bad about the high avy risk.

Yeah, it was a smokin' deal for sure, but you can never chose the weather/avalanche risk. In an ideal world it would dump overnight and go blue the next day with relatively stable conditions. It was still a great trip as there were so many other options like Sled-Skiing or Lift-Accessed resort skiing at Revelstoke Mountain resort which has some pretty phenomenal terrain and does Avalanche Control work.
