they will probably offer boots that fill in the gaps of full tilt, whether is be different lasts or perhaps 2piece, someting more meant to compete with salomon boots i'd figure.
Hopefully they make something completely new. Something far improved from what we have now... We can land on the moon but every ski boot I've ever ridden (Dalbellos, Salomons, Nordicas, Full Tilts, and Rossi's) is either somewhat painful and uncomfortable... OR is comfy but has poor performance. Com'on K2
K2 sports owns K2 skis, full tilt, line skis, and several other companies... It's K2 skis that will be making the boots, not anything related to full tilt, even though they're both owned by the same company.
I could see them focusing more so on entry level and all mountain products rather than specifically free ride. ...that way their main competitor would be salomon... not K2 INC's own Full tilt boots
