The King of Style comp has suffered from oddball formats (2010) and sloppy judging (a few times) in the past. But most of all it suffers from being named King of Style.

As you say, style was never superior to any other judging criteria. It's just another big air comp. Period.

Oh, and just for the record, Sammy won it in 2007.
