I doubt the idea is to copy Marker. There really isn't any other look to a toe piece that incorporates a pivot. You have to make it look that way to make it functional.

every touring binding has a similar looking toe piece...marker was deff not the first with that "look" lol do some research before claiming kids! I think they look great and will be a nice addition to the touring market...they need additions...to bad i dont work for salomon anymore they would be proud lol and i could get a pair these for real cheap.....
