Really good article, that seems like a perfect trip. Not just skiing, but experiencing a place not many people go to see. Auschwitz would leave me rattled. I wouldn't think you'll ever forget that place.

Sick edit, great article, and pictures. Also my 101 year old great grandmother died yesterday who's brothers, all but one sister, both parents and most of her extended family was murdered in the holocaust... mostly in Auschwitz. It must have been a pretty powerful experience being there. I would like to go some day. Once again, great post.
