Tanner Hall speaks out

the ski industry is a pretty wild place, and it doesn't always know what's right for it. I never hated too much on you tanner, and i have to admit you are definitely evolving into a voice of the future. I'm pumped for the movie. sometimes you just make it look too easy... lol.

Tanner man, you've been sick mode ever since The Game, for me anyways... It was around there I payed more attention to the actual ski scene. Nobody has been even close to the amount of spotlight time over the years and people pick up on stupid things and blow them out of proportion, have the wrong idea, and we all aren't perfect all the time. I noticed some issues posted higher up and on a much smaller scale to you, I am also respected and looked up to at my ski hill... sometimes I call out fag to racers if they're snaking or ruining something, I've also critiqued people with good intentions and other's have taken it bad... or maybe i just had a bad day and wasn't my normal cheery self. Realistically, even if you're the nicest guy ever there's always people that will hate on you... my notion is that there's a ratio and it's not gonna change much,... basically if that many people decided to hate on you at X, imagine how many people out there you don't even know that think you're fuckin wicked. Other riders have less haters in pure numbers, but 90% less people out there even know who they are. You're part of a rare group to take celebrity out of skiing and into the rest of the world's media; you and moseley at the top with guys like simon, Jon, and Schiller starting to peak into it a little. Nobody in skiing was more well known at a point than ol JM, and HOW much hate did he get. As many people knew him as you now, and I don't think the hate on you is even close lol. Plus, you've done a MILLION more things for skiing than JM. People tell me to never stop riding and doing what I do, same to you.

PS, I got my ex of... many years into freeskiing and you're like her freakin hero. She still rides as much as i do and has all yur vids. Got her Believe for xmas this year, which was sick. Talked to her the other day, said she watches it almost every night before bed. I think she even msg'd you on facebook recently.

yeah Tanner killed it, he got 2 extra hits in and was spinning right/left all teched out...and he should have won fo sho, the right 9 was steeze...

the ONLY PROBLEMS i have are that 1. There have been some controversial judgements in the past few years, and i personally think simon had the better run last year. So it makes close calls all that much more criticized. 2. People are shorting the fact of simon going almost 21 feet out...no one else was even in reaching distance. AND 3RD AND MOST IMORTANT, CONGRADULATE SIMON AND SAY PEACE, DONT SIT THERE AND GIVE HIM A PERSONAL LESSON ON CAMERA, common now, who does that...

but all and all, dont throw the snowballs at tanner, he threw down...i would have liked to see him try and throw something down for the fans on the 3rd run, but hey only EVERYONE else does that...still he deserved gold, and this new attitude is nice too...

Tanners dope there all dope every last person that qualifies for the xgames i have mad respect for simon tanner they both fuckin kick ass so either way it was fuckin sick they ripped that pipe up!

tanner is sick but people should really focus more on other more creative skiers like every one whos a meathead ( Except Radio Ron )
