As far as the skis go, they do appear to be re-hashed dynastars, but as Pipe_Munky said, that is similar to how Armada started (also started with a big name team). And look where they are now. Chances are COREupt will be offering a lot more in the future.
It would take a lot of money to convince me to spend an entire season on Troublemakers and Big Troubles only. Imagine watching your friends rip pow on big 100-120 waist sticks, flat camber, reverse camber/sidecut etc. while you ride 92mm 185's. Ugh.
And yeah, no hate to CJW, proper for making a move that is good for his skiing career and props to the rest of the team. I just think CoreUPT should've taken the time to design their own models/molds first (tiny indy companies can do it, Bluehouse, Praxis etc). Why rush out without the product to back it. And yes Dyanstar makes good skis, Legend Pro/XXL, Huge Trouble etc. CoreUPT should've just pressed a ski in the Huge Trouble mold if Dynastar would've let them.
The misinformation in these threads is unreal. Love to know who told you this was Armada's first year in the black (anyone who might actually know that for sure) or that ANY Armada skis were not their own designs.
Funny how a ton of people here seem to know how Coreupt is making their skis, getting their money and furthermore what is good for skiing.
Bottom line - Colby, TJ, Candide and others are finally getting paid big. It's about time our athletes start getting a bigger piece of the pie. That's my rant.
