Great response JP. I really appreciate the planning and effort youre putting into this. I feel much better giving my money to this program than one with general and indefinite objectives.

The greatest part of this idea is the 'community home' bit. It's essential for these kids, I think, to maintain as much as a community as possible, it's their identity, it's who they are. Without this they'd just get lost in the monolith of the city as so many kids do. Organic produce sounds great, you should look into permaculture for the home too, imagine how much hope it would give kids if they could grow their own veges and food sustainably. Fantastic. Sounds awesome.

thats awesome! im in an organization similar in my town called builders beyond borders where we build schools in third world countries over our spring break, and now its awesome to see the ski industry getting involved in something similar!!! yeah jp!

Sweet.. Reminds me of a group called Burners without Borders - People from BUrning Man, who helped build houses in Orleans when the hurricane hit.

They also want to work internationally. YOu should check them out!!
