we changed our forum search to google and it didnt seem to index our forums very well, we ended up bringing back our old search for in-site searching and did a sepeate google search field, hopefully if you guys use it it works better for you than it did for us

Make a big neon sign that catches your eye so no matter where you are on the site you can't miss it SEARCH BAR in huge yellow letters, and put search bar subliminal messaging in the site telling people to use the searchbar.

NOOOOO do not convert everything to flash. that is so beat. flash (aka youtube etc.) makes the quality so bad.
