great interview, and i agree with mr.ibergs views on the state of ski film. yeah i found phils segment to be a little bit much but thats what happens when you're innovative; you take risks and not all of them work out perfectly. would still much rather see that than the same old forgettable formulas from most of the other companies. dont make us wait 6 more years for another one

The first time i watched the movie i didnt quite understand all the effects in phils sequement, but i was mind blown by all the tricks i wouldnt have even though of, but i had a little itch with the fact that the movie wasnt all in HD and that some sequences werent all at 30fps. It left me with a bitter taste. But then i read your interview and watched it an other time with a completely different set of mind and damn, i enjoyed it 100x more and i was amazed by phils sequement. As a final thought, like mr. ibergs mentionned it, this is a movie that you will want to watch again but contrarily to other one, you wont skip any parts while watching it.

I just watched the movie and it was really sick. The skiing had so much creativity. And Iberg you did a great job making this movie its own and not like every other ski film out there.

Great article too.

I think the main fact with this movie is that it is built to be incredibly polarizing.

Some people are going to watch this and say "Holy fuck... this is an insane piece of shit."

However, others are going to have their minds blown, be completely challenged, and enjoy the mind-fuck that is the assault on the traditional model of a ski movie.

Nobody is specifically right, though the concept of challenging the norm, and using your artistic interpretation of a ski movie are never a bad thing. Watching very similar things year after year can get boring, so I really support the idea of something totally different.

Hats off to you inspired folk - you're thinking different.
