I love skiing so much that I'm not even able to fit it into a rectangular box on a computer screen.

I love skiing. Period. It used to be because of the freedom to get away from everything and everyone. Soon IT WAS everything and everyone. Now I pretty much just about die in the summer from skiing withdrawal....and thats why I'm thankful for NS, ski magazines, and movies.

"Honestly I don’t even know what I love about skiing anymore. I love skiing so deeply that it has become a part of me, and I can barely even describe what I like about it." Thats it.

i love skiing because i did bs switch up on a really sticky box first hit today. Both skis just stopped after the switch up and i rag dolled into the end of the box, ending my day after one hit. It was so fun!

I love being able to go up to the hill/mountian and being able to forget about everything else that is going on in the world. I love knowing that theres a chance i might not land but there is that slim chance that it will be amazing. I love being in control of what i want to do and i love the adrenaline of "flying" for 50 feet in the air and being balenced enough to land on two feet. I love going so fast making good turns on a really nice groomer that my thighs hurt when i stop. I love litle white crystals of frozen water!

i love skiing because it makes me wait for 6 months to enjoy it and when your're up on the hill theres nothing else but me and the mountain and the freedom that is transmitted in such experience... theres nothing wich can be compared to being on the top of a good line with the certain feeling that you don't know what the hek may happen in your way down... the only thing you know is that it's gonna be awesome

The best way I can describe skiing is by quoting a poem from Nancy Woods, "My help is in the mountain, Where I take myself to heal, The earthly wounds, That people give to me..." There is a freedom in the mountains that cannot not be found anywhere else, there are no papers or final exams, or news reports about bombings in Iraq. It is peace, and it is quite, the only sound is the soft swoosh of your skis carving through snow. Of course that solitude is generally not to case now a days, in the yuppy filled, corporate resorts. but some days you'll get lucky, and that's what I hold one to, and that's why I love it and will always ski another day!

i love skiing so much i am contemplating suicide because my season is over early due to a broken leg in 2 places and a dislocated ankle all from a car wreck. the reason i want to die is because this injury may cause me to not ski nex year also.
