I love skiing because everytime i get on my skis, i know there is something new for me to learn. No one in the world can say they have conquered skiing, whether you are Tanner Hall or Colonel Sanders, no one knows where the progression will stop, and in my opinion, it never will stop. Skiing is a multitude of endless possibilities, and i love it.
i love skiing because when your on top of the mountain looking down your run, or getting ready to drop into the park or a glade, nothing else in the world matters
i love skiing because of all of the friends i meet. i love the feeling u get when you go huck yourself in the air, spinning realy fast and somehow landing on your feet. i love riding up steep chair lifts to watch the beginers who think they are hot stuff fall. i love little east coast rocks that you can jump off, and the always skied out woods. i love being the first one to the mountian in the morning, and then having the ski patrol tell me when to leave at the end of the day, because i was there too long. i love showing up wearing new obserd things and hearing reactions. i love doing flips under the chair lifts and getting ooo's and ahh's. i love skiing even in the rain. i love the fun you can have at lunch with your frinds. i love hitting a rail over and over again playing horse because it makes you better. i love teaching friends new tricks or giving them advice. i just love skiing!!!
o and i love skiing with music too because it gives me more flow. and i love it because i could even ski with my parents and it is sort of quality. and i love being filmed and getting the shot, preforming better on camera is always fun too. and lastly i love being able to brag about all of the dope ski days i had in the offseason. i love skiing
i love skiing because its a chance to express yourself and push yourself to be the best u can be in an awesome friendly and supportive environment. It allows you the incredible sense of accomplishment satisfaction and pure lustful freedom which can only be attained and understood by those who truly love the sport!
I love skiing because, actually, no one ever questions why I'm doing what I'm doing. I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm doing it. I don't know where I'm going to be in five years, but I know I'm going skiing this weekend. And I don't have to. My life is dictated by geeky weathermen and teasing reports, promising six inches and waking up to three and freezing rain. I love the east coast. I love the ice burned backs and the shin-spiltting landings, the slushy days and the "powdery" ones. I love that skiing is defined differently by everyone, and no response in this line can be deemed as incorrect. At school, I get an answer wrong, at home I don't do the dishes, but if I fall at the mountain? We get up and do it again. The mountain's ready when I'm ready. I picked up skiing because it was the only thing to do at home, but I stuck with it. I chose the hill over the mall any weekend. I love how I don't have to be able to be good at math at the hill, and it doesn't matter how well I can sing, but I belong somewhere. I have somewhere I belong. I have a new family who understands why drawing sketches of powderlines and rails are more important than the actual philosophy notes, and they still love me. My life has officially changed because of skiing. I can't imagine taking the path I'd planned. Much like on a powder day, I'm creating a new line, making fresh tracks while meeting new people, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love that feeling you get of the first cold breath you take before you drop in for the first run. The fact that theres no set rules, guidlines, the fact that you ski for the purpose of skiing nothing else.
I Love skiing because it's something where I haven't been pushed into cause of my height, and where I can have fun and do something that I love. And days where all you do is chill with friends or even yourself. Landing a new trick is amazing,
all this love makes me want to ski.....i love the act of skiing itself...cruising down a hill on two planks of wood on this weird amazing frozen stuff. blows my minnddd
