It's to bad it had to close, i would have loved to expirence the camp in its fullest when i went ( Broke My Leg 2 days In). Shane and Amanda and the whole staff was great about helping me out during my injury out there! Good Luck in any future endeavors!

shitty that its closing down. R.I.P.

why would you recommend momentum or dave murray and not even mention coc? i'm not being biased because i go there, but seriously....best park on the glacier BY FAR. all the other camps on the glacier put together still couldn't compare. and it's not even crowded. that's just a huge misconception..

As its always hard to digest, I was a digger from 2000 till 2003 Shane has always had his head in the right place. For everyone that lives in Colorado I know there has been talk about blowing more snow at Arapahoe Basin. Enough to put together a camp till mid july in the center of this resort. I believe this is going to be focusing more on moguls with some park features. This is just been talk as of now, but with the new land access pass that has allowed the largest expansion in the US and with a new mid mtn. lodge its looks like a great spot for anyone from the midwest and the rocky mtn region. Kids anything is possible.

Some of the ABSOLUTE BEST memories of my life were made up there as well as some amazing friendships in each of those ten summers.. I wouldn't trade those experiences for ANYTHING. Thanks everybody.

wow, such terrible news. thank you high north for one of the best weeks of my life, and for being a catalyst for the careers of so many young talented skiers over the years. i'm sad to see you go but i also respect the bit doug mentioned about walking away before your vision gets corrupted.

Schmies nailed it right on the head. That camp changed my life forever. Shane offered to anyone willing to grab it, a little slice of the dream. And once you have something like that inside of you, it stays with you forever. Thanks for some of the greatest memories and lasting friendships that were forged on those snowy peaks. Battling through ice, rain, snow, wind and freezing cold just to find those few brief moments when the sun is shining, you are flying through the air and everything in life seems to make sense. Thanks for everything. Wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for you.

And huge props to the dig crew for battling through all the shit day in and day out.

Thanks to everyone for making it happen.

Shane, I never really got to shred your camp, but it looked sick. Thanks for helping make the sport what it is today.

Best,

Cody Raisig
