wow, i dont think that i have ever been a first post. but i wont claim it. sick story! warren miller, is like the grandfather of skiing, such as mike douglas is the godfather!

I want Santa Clause to bring me every movie ever made by Warren. So cool to see that interview on here. I recently saw a WM movie that I missed from around 2000 showing Tanner Hall at 16 yrs old. Warren knew what was up then and he knows what is up now.

it sounds like he kinda hates freestyle skiing, also i didnt know that he wasnt involved at all, i knew he sold the company but i didnt know they used recordings of his voice. anywho he made skiing known to the public so thanks warren

nice scott schmidt reference. i bet a ton of kids on here have no idea who he even is. i like his older movies and the idea of skiing being fun, but TimeWarner got it right this year and made an adrenaline filled movie for the general public. glad to see the departure from the 12minutes of people falling off the lift.

I also grew up making those annual trips in fall to the local high school or ski convention that happened to be featuring this years new WM film.

A true inspiration to anyone who slides on snow. Thank you very much Warren Miller.

i also drove up to bolton on friday and for sunday, it was SICK, the east coast powder is off the chain for right bout now, im headed back up tomorro, if ur on the east, GET TO VERMONT while theres still sum stashes left over, judgin by the report, looks like therell be sum freshies till tuesday

fifty was my favorite movie of his. i'm sad to here he isn't involved anymore. and that they just clip in old voices from his previous movies.
