Colby Stevenson today announced that he will be out for the remainder of the season due to an injury sustained from a brutal crash during the Dew Tour. On the fourth jump in an otherwise clean run, he landed on his shoulder and the impact tore his rotator cuff. Unfortunately, this means that Colby will not to be able to compete in the upcoming X Games or PyeongChang Olympics. Colby has had more than his fair share of injuries in such a short career so here’s hoping for a speedy recovery, which will no doubt be followed by another epic comeback next year.

Really bummed to say that I’m done for the season. Turns out my @dewtour crash was worse than expected and I completely tore my rotator cuff in my shoulder. Surgery next week. It’s a harsh reality to face, but the only thing I can do is look forward to good health and learn from my mistakes!
