It seems like only yesterday that Shannon was buying Gatorade and mini pizzas for herself, but this year she’s on the other side of the counter running the show in SAIGL (otherwise known as the Super Awesome Information Game Lounge). A former camper of 5 years turned lady in charge, Shannon knows the ins and outs of camp pretty darn well. Let’s all put the down the summer snacks and learn a little more about the hot dog slangin’ Shannon Barrett.
Hey guys! I’m Shannon. I’m from San Diego, CA and I’m stoked to be out here in Hood for another summer. When I’m not traveling around, my home base in the winter is Mt. High. This past season I got to visit a ton of great places like Tahoe, Park City, and Copper in Colorado for the USASA Nationals where I helped out Windells to put on the giant Dane Party they hold every year. It’s always a really fun event.

I’m really happy to be back and working for camp this year. Windells is one of my favorite places to be in the summer. Going from a camper to an employee has been really exciting. There is never a dull moment here. Whether I’m manning SAIGL or getting some laps in on hill it’s always a good day.
