I want to pose a challenge to the skiing community to push us all to be better skiers and better people. I am asking you to write out what your goals are for this season, make a comment, no judge here. I want to know what you want to accomplish and why that is your goal. I also want to know what your plans are for achieving your goals this season and what you will do once you’ve accomplished them. Will you push yourself further, get out of your comfort zone, to grow as a skier and become a better person?
My goal is to stomp a double backflip on snow in Three Kings Park in Park City, as well as master cork 7s whit grabs and learn switch cork 5s. I plan to practice on the trampoline to get these tricks down as best I can and then stomp them on snow. I already landed my first double backflip at SnowFlex this summer and really want to put it to snow.
Once I master cork 7s and switch cork 5s I want learn dub flat 9. Once I get that I wand to push it to dub cork 10s/12s and switch dub 9s. I know it will be hard to do but I have a lot of time to prepare. I want to know am I thinking about progressing too fast? What tips do you all have for me when it comes to progression? Let me and the rest of the community know your thoughts so we can all help each other out.
I also want to strengthen up my rail game and get 270 ons solid, as well as front swaps and back swaps to be 100% consistent. I know I can do it I just need to put in the time and effort. Once I learn those I plan to start practicing switch 270 ons and 270 on variations as well as 450 ons so I can try them on urban.
But now that you know what my goals are, what are your goals and how do you plan to achieve them?
