Earlier this year, there was a mixed reaction to the addition of a women's big air competition to the X-Games. Most were hesitant. A lack of style, missed grabs and switch 5s has plagued the reputation of women's slopestyle. Would it plague big air too?
Haters be dammed, as all the ladies threw down in the big air comps this year. Stylish dubs were stomped both in and out of the competitions. There has been nothing but positive reactions for the fast trick progression from others of the freeskiing community as well. The ladies have all pushed each other to step up their game, and watching it unfold this year has been incredible.
