Amsterdam has put so much time and money into building bike lanes, so now they really want bikes to stay off the roads. Enough so that they make it illegal to bike on streets.

The cops thought we were lying to them when we told them its ILLEGAL to bike on sidewalks but LEGAL to bike on roads in the States.
