I just got a canon GL2 and when i plug in the firewire and then open log and capture in Final Cut Pro, it says unable to initialize video deck. I have always uploaded footage with my little sony handy can, but I dont know why it wont work for my GL2...

I am looking at a AG DVC30 as well...some dude from texas on craigs list, but i think its a scam cause its going for $900...the pictures look legit though, so i dunno...but where are you looking at that camera? There is a web site where you can type in other websites to see if its trustworthy...

I am thinking about buying a AG-DVC30 and it has 34 hours on it. Is that a lot of hours?
