yeah the lifty should have done something because he was at the bottom of the lift right next to the tower if i remember correctly and it's messed up that they didn't but the kid shouldn't have had his backpack on either so it all evens out.

ummm...i'm pretty sure this is just a big misunderstanding. you see i don't think ivan would totally bash snowboarders because one of his best friends is one and he rides with him all the time. what he's trying to say is really hard to word and i think it got taken COMPLETELY the wrong way so...
