I like the feeling of flying through the air, where no one can touch you, where your mind is at rest, and where you understand what it means to have peace. I like the feeling off cutting through the snow, where it's just you and the mountain, one on one.

My photographs are better than my skiing. Capturing somebody in mid-air means more than acknowledging an insane trick. I find the best photographs to be those of skiers who are most recognizably having the greatest time.
