What defines you as a skier? I don't think can be defined through my skiing. My skiing is what defines me as a person. It's shaped how I live, shaped my life. Everything about it really turns me on. The solitude, the landscape, the ever evolving/changing environment, the challenges, the problems, the energy, the air, the people, my people. I enjoy the simplicity of it all. It seems like when I'm out there skiing I just realize that our complicated lives drift away and disappear into the depths of our minds and our focus zeros in on the present moment. Free of stress, free of politics, free of guilt, free of obligation, just plain old free. Live a little... go ski.
