Anyone mount with coils right away?

I keep shaking binding mount screws loose. Last year I got all mount holes on my pow skis to be switched out to quiver killer inserts. Makes me wonder if I should just do it right away when I mount up a new pair of skis? Do pros do this? Thanks guys

Old and ok with taking it easy?

    Snow scoop mod tutorial

Haven’t logged in in a long time. Thought you guys might appreciate this. I don’t like the ergonomic style handles on snow scoops; it means you can’t push with your hips when shoveling heavy or wet snow. My solution was to chop it up with a grinder and then stick on some bike grips and weld it...

    Backyard ski hill?

I’ve been thinking a lot recently about moving back to the midwest. A thought that makes it a lot more bearable is buying a piece of property on a hill side and making my own little ski hill with a nice timber frame cabin at the base. Has anyone else thought about this or actually done it?

    Who uses a flask?

Any members out there carry a flask with them to the bar or just in general? Say what kind of flask you have, if you like it or any stories etc.

I just used the Chad's Gap call out and got shut down hard...

So there I was, standing on top of big white at the peak chair. Off the chair behind me comes a guy who looks like a serious ns'er...Saga outerwear, full tilts, Hell Bents, Crowbars and a helmet with the old ns stickers all over it. I'm stoked to see a fellow member of my community, and I figure...

So I jumped a cop car this weekend...(video inside)

We got a serious dump of April pow here in Thunder Bay Ontario. My buddy called me and told me there was a cop car stuck in the snow just up the street from him, so I rushed over, built a jump, and sent it. I was a bit scared to trick it, as I really didn't want to mess up and smash the...

Who loves finding plug ins at urban spots?

I was just thinking this while hitting urban last night. We had a cool baseball dugout to hit at night, but we had no generator. Our solution was to sneak about 100 feet of extension cords from someone's house to our lights. It worked perfectly, and there was no generator noise. Does anyone...

Are the Meatheads still making a movie this year?

I was reading the thread about TSP not making another movie, and I noticed Parry said Meatheads weren't making another movie. Is this true? I hope not, meatheads are the best out.

    I Miss NS News

I get what NS is trying to do with the pinterest style setup they are currently rocking. However, the quality and reliability of the news has really suffered, and I miss reading official ski articles. Does anyone else feel this way? I know that there was apparently a huge drop in the number...

Like Bike Commuting? Check this video out!

Kinda spamming it, but whatever. This is a video my buddy and I made for school. Riding bikes saves you money, and gets you in shape. Do it up! Oh and fuck embedding, that shit is difficult. If someone embeds it I will dish out the karma. Thanks NS!

My friend lacerated his scrotum while skiing

Whaddup NS. I figured this story is legendary enough to warrant its own thread. Way back in 2006, my friend cam and I were shredding under the chairlift at our local hill. It was absolutely prime spring skiing weather; the sun was out, the snow was slushy, and there was a slight breeze. I was...
