    Ab/bc parks right now

PSA: Panorama's Park ...is still being built. The park they had over the break was small (1 rail, 4 boxes, one bad table). Unfortunately, mountain management decided that park was low priorty this year, so it was pretty much the last thing to get worked on. They've gotten to it though, and...

    Snowfall reports??

Poke around the national weather website, they usually keep stats like that somewhere.

    Grouse, Cypress or Seymour?

I haven't done seymour yet, but I'd pick cypress over grouse. Although both places had pretty terrible parks when I went in Dec. and Jan. of last season. Haven't done any O/B exploring yet at either place (and didn't find anything like those cliff bands - they look sick). I've heard Seymour...

    Ab/bc parks right now

Panorama at the moment has 4 boxes, 1 rail, 1 [Small] Medium jump, and lots of piles of snow that will be bigger jumps. Not worth it right now just for the park, but I've heard that they are expecting the full park to be done in a week or two. When its done it will probably be the biggest and...

    When are the hills closed?

As far as I know, all local hills are open right through the holidays.

    Fragol Rock

Anyone have a link to this long term plan? I've heard of this lift, and skied its line a few times. Its pretty narrow, so you have to be there early on a pow day. Some good looking airs, although most landings are flat. Pretty sure I also heard the planned lift has been shelved (sourced from...

    Panorama?

I raced there and rode there until last season when I went off to Whistler and College. I like it. The groomers are probably the best in the area, and with RCR out of the game this year, it is possible they'll have the best park as well (maybe COP will beat them out). They usually suck at...

    W/B Pipe Opening?

Just wondering if anyone has heard if the pipe is opening tomorrow. I know they said earlier in the week that it was opening, but there is no mention of it on their site now.

A-Basin and the East Wall...any thoughts?

Vail and Copper are really good too. Unless you are looking mostly for park, I'd skip Breck and Keystone. They just arent as good for big mountain as vail, copper and abasin are.

A-Basin and the East Wall...any thoughts?

The east wall is really fun. Up top, its hike-to chutes. They are realy lung killers (its 13 000 feet, and you're limbing at 40+ degrees). I hit one called Wiley's Wide or something twice last year when I went to A-Basin. They arent open every day though, and can go for a while without being...
