If you haven't ever heard, Vans hosts a competition series for snowboarding called Hi Standard (http://www.vans.de/news/item/11817/2015-vans-hi-standard-snow-series-world-tour-style-everything-nothing-over-720). In the competitions nothing over a 720 is allowed, and style is everything.

I have a glidecam XR-2000, with a canon t2i, a rode video mic, and newly purchased sigma 10-20mm. While walking around, its perfectly balanced, but once i start going a little fast while skiing, the whole rig just flies around. Maybe it`s becuase of the mic catching all the wind? I do have alot...

This year my shins and mostly my calves have been hurting me a ton. This year I switched over to FullTilts from Salomon SPK's, and the pain has never been worse. It wasn't bad when I had salomons, just with full tilts. Everytime I land the slightest bit backseat my whole leg just kills. And...

Basically, this afternoon we dropped off a building, like a 15 foot drop to a bank. The building is a subway station, so as you can imagine its pretty busy especially in the afternoon... Anyone ever hit urban at sunrise? Maybe it would be less busy and nicer shot?

Am I the only one who would like more contests? I know its not newschoolers, but i remember many contests in the contest section...now theres one. There should be more film contests and such, who agrees?
