your momentum should be sliding into the 270 a considerable ammount off of a box...i actually find it easier to spin off rail because spinning off box you need to worry about butter factor. just let it flow into the 270 out a bit and youll be fine.
ya i think it is nice to learn on a long box with a mellow kink...i learned them blind because it feels better but i guess either way works. i actually find that blind switchups feels like a 270 on. personally id go with the reg on to blind switch up for momentum reasons and sometimes you will...
