The old sandwich construction ones bend the best and wood doesn't matter. What won't bend well without breaking are ones made from foam and fiber glass and other wierd crap. The early 90's skis really bend easily. Representing Guerrilla Style 100%!

If you go off near a tower, you're in like flynn. I jumped off once, was caught and reprimanded severely. I also knew a kid who jumped off KT22 (the 'new' quad, not the old double) at Squallyworld and his dumb-ass was also busted big-time. I think it will only de-rail if the chair is swinging...

Shootr's got it down. I used to race Solomon's and the race-stock skis were light years beyond the store-bought ones. Not even on the same playing field. It's all about dollars to the big companies. Head used to have the best race skis in the world until they quit making them in a sandwich...

Don't some Atomic bindings slide? They used to have that. YOu could mount your skis with the boot on the center mark and the binding all the way back, then slide them forward for park/switch riding... ... SWB

Regarding the K2's, I forgot what it's called that creates the electricity, but it works like a crystal Microphone. Now I ask, how much electricity can this micro-sized chunck of rock create when tweaked inside the ski, and how much electricity does it take to actually make a worthwhile...

The best part's when you gronk your thumb off to the side at about a 60 degree angle and dislocate it! That's the SHIT! Try taping them good. I pop mine now accidentally just lifting stuff up. It REALLY sucks so try and take care of 'em. SWB SWB
