I ran into a rainy couple of days at Sugarbush a few years back. The park was closed and there wasn't any fresh snow, so I spent the ENTIRE 2 days skiing switch. Started off easy and got better at it...Now I can carve ok, but can't take off great cause haven't gotten a lot of practice at it...

Yeah, sure the ski looks "way cooler" to us, but would they necessarily if you are in your 40s? Do you want a ski with graffiti graphics? And there are plenty of great all mountain skis that are not twins still...the twin tip, despite its popularity, still does not attract every crowd.
