I recently bought a Toko iron. I think it was a T8 or something. Anyways, in the instruction/warning booklet, it said to store it horizontally after it cooled. I was wondering if anyone knew why they say to do this or how important it is. K+ for useful answers

I learned how to do it the "bunny ears" way. I never got around to learning to do it any other way. They stay tied just fine with the "bunny ears". What about everyone else?
