thanks to all the positive contributions to my question. its looking like it might be time to try out a fresh mountain...

well, not bored! just worried it might be a little small. guess i am just worried about leaving the south shore where i know the heav so well. nothing really to bomb there but 5000' heli worthy runs down to minden are hard to give up;)

well after 6 years on the south shore, i might lose my place this winter. I hate to leave heavenly because it has become a second home to me and i know every fold and crease of the mountain. was thinking of keeping my summer rental for the winter at donner lake and thinking of getting a boreal...

he made more than a lifty working a handful of days a month, just enough for some pbr and rent. he was flexiable with where he would work though. good luck and see ya at the heav next season.

can't help you with the roomates but would suggest not getting a job at the resort. better to work nights or sub on marginal days than watching others track out your fresh. my buddy made decent money with his emergency teaching credential and set his own schedule. what passes you getting?

i will be up there this summer. renting a room at donner lake for the summer so i can rip N* all summer. hopefully get in around 40 days or so. day 1 will be either sun or mon but wont start stacking up the days untill upper mt. opens

i have mounted all my skis for the past 4 years true center. when it came time to mount my 130's i debated as to where i should mount them. I ended up mounting true center and love them. the reasons for this are 1) i like to ski switch in deeper pow, much easier with more tail 2) i like try...

the step down is up. the butter box is up but they pushed some snow to make it a little safer. the things that got closed are the cat gap, the log ride over the cat track, and the bmx jumps.

seems like a great idea for the big park. how many people up for the weekend are going to go down to the main lodge and take 30 minutes out of their day to watch a video just so they can launch off the lips to the rails? it is a bit elitist to have a pass to access a part of the mountain but...
